GOBI MATAR

       Gobi matar is a dry version which pairs well with roti.It can also be served with rice,dal tadka.You can also use aloo along with gobi,matar. Amchur powder is the secret ingredient which makes the dish very tasty.You can also add lemon juice instead of amchur powder

I followed this recipe from Sharmis blog.I slightly modified her recipe and adapted it to my convience.

INGREDIENTS
Gobi                               - 1 small sized flower
Frozen Green peas     - 1/4 Cup
Big Onion                    - 1
Amchur powder         - 1/2 Tsp
Jeera                             - 1/2 Tsp
Garlic                            - 4
Curry leaves                -  Few
Oil                                  - 1 Tbsp

Marination
Red chilly powder         - 1 Tsp
Coriander powder         - 1 Tsp
Garam masala Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Curd                                 - 1/4 Tsp
Salt                                   - To Taste


STEP BY STEP PICTURES
  Cut the gobi into small florets.Parboil the gobi,Add salt.
Marinate the gobi,green peas along with the ingredients given in the table. 
Allow it to rest for 30 mins.
In a pan heat oil and add jeera,finely chopped garlic, onion,curry leaves. Fry till it turns pink.
Now add the marinated mixture.Mix well
Sprinkle water so that the masala blends well.Add salt if needed.
Finally add amchur powder and cook for 5 mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with roti/rice.
