PEAS CHAPATHI


                        I have prepared this Peas Chapathi with frozen Peas. You can also prepare this with dry green Peas or sprouted Peas. The green color will tempt you to eat more.
INGREDIENTS

FROZEN PEAS
1 Cup
GREEN CHILLY
2
GINGER
½ inch piece
GARAM MASALA POWDER
½ Tsp
SALT
To Taste
CUMIN SEEDS
¼ Tsp
OIL
½ Tsp

Pressure cook the Frozen Peas by adding a pinch of sugar. You should not add or sprinkle water. Cook for 2 whistles. You should steam it.

In a mixie jar grind Ginger,Green chilly to a smooth paste.

Now add the Peas and grind it to coarse paste.

Grind it without adding water.

In a kadai heat oil and temper with cumin seeds.

Now add the grounded Peas paste,Garam masal powder. Allow it to cool.

Prepare Chapathi dough and let it rest for 30 mins.

Make small equal sized balls out of dough,Peas mixture.

Spread the dough and place the Peas filling inside. Gather all the corners and make a ball.

Dust with flour and roll it out.

Spread it out either thick/thin Chapathi.
Heat a dosa pan and cook the Peas chapthi by adding Oil/ghee.
Serve hot.
Enjoy with Curd/Pickle.
