AVAL KOZHUKATTAI

A simple & healthy evening snack which can be prepared in 15 mins.
Do try this and I am sure all your family members would love it.

INGREDIENTS

AVAL/POHA
1 Cup
MUSTARD SEEDS
¼ Tsp
URAD DHAL
1 Tsp
CHANNA DHAL
½ Tbsp
GREEN CHILLY
1
COCONUT
1 Tbsp
SALT
To Taste
WATER
1 Cup
OIL
1 Tsp

Grind the Aval/Poha coarsely by using the pulse option.

Heat a pan with Oil & add Mustard seeds,Urad dhal,Channa Dhal, Green chilly.

Add water,Salt & bring it to boil.

Add the powdered Aval & mix well for 2 mins until all the water is absorbed.

Switch off the stove & add the grated Coconut.

Allow it to cool down.

Grease the Idly plates with oil . Make small balls out of the aval mixture & steam it for 5 mins.
